All five from one herd
Milk, curd, ghee, gomutra and gobar — all from our own Sahiwal and Gir cows, not assembled from separate sources. What makes panchagavya a rasayana in Ayurveda is the balance among the five, so where they come from matters.
Why we make it to order
The potency of ghee, the microbial balance of curd and the volatile principles of gomutra all shift with time. Traditional peya panchagavya is meant to be made fresh in small quantities, so we prepare it on the morning of your pickup or delivery rather than bottling it in advance.
The agricultural preparation is different
There is a separate 21-day fermented panchagavya used as an organic plant tonic and biostimulant. It is a different preparation for a different purpose. If you want it for a kitchen garden or a farm, say so and we will make that one instead.
Questions about our panchagavya
How fresh is it?
It is prepared on the morning of your delivery or pickup. Once made, it is best used within 24 hours at room temperature, or within 3 days refrigerated.
Do you make the agricultural kind?
Yes, the 21-day fermented preparation used as an organic plant tonic. Tell us when ordering, because it is made differently and needs more notice.
How much notice do you need?
At least 24 hours, since it is made to order.
